Yes, you will need ETIAS if you are a UK citizen, since the UK is no longer part of the EU. Citizens of all countries outside of the EU with a visa-free travel agreement will have to apply for ETIAS authorisation from 2023 to travel to the EU Schengen zone freely.

As per the latest updates, ETIAS will be operational somewhere in 2023 for currently 58 non-EU countries, including the UK. There will be a six-month transition period before the system takes full force.

According to the latest information, up to £6, but the amount could change before the launch of the ETIAS system. Those under 18 and over 70 will be able to apply for ETIAS free of charge.
